About Julie Galiay
Julie Galiay, Sensual curves. Born in Clermont Ferrand, France in 1979,
Julie Galiay has devoted all her free time to learning and practising drawing and painting since her childhood.
When she arrived in Royan in 1994, her meeting with Jacques Laigle — professor of Arts — led her to develop this passion. Julie Galiay is a self-taught and unconditional artist of acrylic painting, Posca, and aerosol recently borrowed from Street Art. After a long research for her universe, she now draws her inspiration from pleasure and love.
She works with a play of vibrant colors in order to sublimate women, their curves and their sensual strength. "My writing is Pop and colorful sensuality."
Her work constantly evolves from curvy female body, luscious mouths, to strength of portraits.
Hopelessly in love with life, inspired by love and femininity, and hypersensitive, Julie puts her whole being in this sensuality that has become her oxygen.
